Cards on the right, in the not forged yet section, are cards you have not yet made and cannot use.
Each card has a Target type. Learning these will be useful in the battles ahead!
Single Target - your target will hit the one target you select when playing the card.
Area Effect - All enemies in the area selected will be damaged by your ability
Splash Damage - One primary target will receive the bulk of the damage dealt, with smaller amounts of “splash” damage hitting enemies near your primary target.
There are Attack, Shield, and Heal cards.
Attack cards are meant to deal damage to your foes.
Shield cards will shield you or an ally in battle.
Heal will restore Health to you or an ally in battle.
Some cards have special effects, like Shield Break, which deals extra Damage against Shields.

Leveling Up Cards
From the Cards screen, simply tap on the Card you want to level up and then tap Level Up. Remember, card levels are limited to Hero Level, so there may be times where you cannot upgrade your card further unless you first level up your Hero.
When viewing the Main Menu, a red exclamation point next to the Cards button indicates that you have new cards or cards that can be leveled up.
Forging Cards and Card Evolution
In order to create cards you have not yet collected, you must find materials needed to Forge the card. Once you have Forged a card, you can also use materials to multiple the strength of the card. Each star displayed on the card is an indicator of that card’s Evolution Level.
Shards and Boosters are required to Forge a card. Shards () and Bucks ()are required to Evolve a card. In the example above, the player has only 1 out of 25 Shards needed to Forge the card, but owns more than enough Boosters (). Shards can be found in the Shop.
